I killed my Hermes AI agent this weekend. It worked fine. That's what makes it annoying. I did what everybody says to do, routed the cheap work to the cheap models, and the bill dropped to a fraction. Something else dropped with it. Or I think it did. The uncomfortable part is that I can't fully prove it, and I say so in the post.
