I’ve written before about how bad AI was at underwriting. Wrong line items, made-up totals, numbers that tied to nothing. I wasn’t being dramatic, it really was that bad. So this week, when I handed a brand new chat one of the ugliest type of deals to underwrite, I wasn’t nervous. I was just curious how far it had come. Turns out, further than I expected.
